Forensic Psychology

Forensic psychology is the interaction between the psychological practice or study and the law. Psychologists involved in this area of specialized research will be seen employed in, to name a handful, hospitals, detox services, police forces, law offices, colleges, policy entities, or private practice. We can deal closely with attorneys, witnesses, suspects, perpetrators, students, relatives or patients in correction or recovery facilities throughout the state. Many investigative psychologists concentrate on the study of psychiatry and the law. Although forensic psychology is viewed within psychology as a relatively recent branch of specialization, the discipline goes back to the earliest days of the history of psychology. Philosophers and psychologists have long tried to explain what helps individuals commit offences, act violently or act antisocially.
