Financial-Market-Top-Journals

Financial markets broadly refer to any marketplace where securities trading occurs including, but not limited to, the stock market, bond market, forex market and derivatives market. Financial markets are crucial for the smooth functioning of capitalist economies. The markets make trading of their financial holdings easy for buyers and sellers. The stock market is just one Financial Market type. Financial markets are made through the purchase and sale of numerous types of financial instruments including shares, bonds, currencies and derivatives. Financial markets rely heavily on information transparency to ensure efficient and appropriate prices are set in the markets. Due to macroeconomic forces such as taxes, market prices of securities may not be indicative of their intrinsic value. Some financial markets are small with little activity, and others, such as the New York Stock Exchange trading trillions of securities dollars daily. The equity (stock) market is a financial market which allows investors to buy and sell publicly traded companies' shares. The primary stock market is where new stock issues, called initial public offerings, are being sold.
