Geographic Tongue In A Healthy Young Adult

Abstract

28 year old patient with no significant pathological antecedents, admitted for a change in the appearance of his tongue, whose date of onset was imprecise, the dermatological examination had objectified a geographic tongue. The patient did not feel pain or any other symptom. Complete somatic examination did not indicate skin lesions or associated inflammatory disease (FIGURE 1). Therapeutic abstention was advocated, after reassuring the patient, with spontaneous remission.
