Plastic can be considered one of the best innovations and an important product of human life since it has developed into a major industry. This leads to sustainable development and provides the people with a better life. For an example, plastics makes many products more accessible in our everyday lives and reduces the loss of many precious resources. Plastics have eased daily life; their use is growing and annual production has risen significantly over the past 60 years , rising by 3.8% to about 280 million tons worldwide in 2011. European industry figures clearly show an annual turnover of EUR 300 billion. Petrochemicals that are non-renewable in nature are the key source for plastics production.
