Personalised Medicine Open Access Journal
Journal of
Personalized Medicine is an international,
open access journal aimed at bringing all aspects of
personalized medicine to one platform. Precision medicine, theranostics or personalized medicine, which is a medical
model used to separate the people into different group such as medical practices, decisions, interventions and/or products being tailored to the individual patient based on their risk of disease or predicted response. The terms Stratified medicine, P4 medicine, Personalised medicine and precision medicine are using interchangeably to explain this idea though some Organisations and authors use these expressions separately to point particular nuances. We provide a forum to compile Clinical and academic researchers, diagnostic and pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology,
health professionals, regulatory and ethical experts, and government and regulatory authorities. Personalized medicine can be considered an extension of traditional approaching of understanding and treating the disease. Personalized medicine has the potential to vary the way we expect about, identify and manage
health problems. The advent of precision medicine is moving us closer to more precise, predictable and powerful
health care that's customized for the individual patient. Our growing understanding of
genetics and
genomics — and therefore the way they drive health, enabling doctors to provide better disease prevention, disease and drug responses in everyone — is safer drug prescriptions and simpler treatments for the various diseases and conditions that diminish our
health more accurate diagnoses. Personalized medicine could also be considered an extension of traditional approaches to understanding and treating disease.
