 The increasing prevalence of obesity over the recent decades appears to be in large part due to behavioural changes supporting the maladaptive behaviours of sedentariness and consumption of larger, energy-dense foods. Behaviour-based weight loss interventions are part of a comprehensive lifestyle approach used in the management of obesity. These therapeutic methods are based on the reinforcement of healthy changes in diet and physical activity. Traditionally, the delivery of behaviour-based interventions has been through face-to-face trained providers, group sessions or commercial weight loss programs alongside paper and pen self-monitoring of diet and activities. In-person behaviour weight loss therapy sessions are considered a component of first-line therapy due to their proven safety and effectiveness at achieving and maintaining weight loss. The present advances in technology offer opportunities to deliver interventions exploitation cell phones, net and active video games. These new strategies to deliver behaviour modification for the management and hindrance of fleshiness are being developed so as to extend access, improve convenience and decrease price and increase participant engagement. During this review, we have a tendency to gift new approaches to push behaviour changes within the management of fleshiness. Presently offered information shows promising results. However, future analysis is required to deal with study limitations and implementation challenges of those innovative interventions.
