Diabetes is a worldwide public health emergency crisis that compromises the economies of all nations, especially in developing nations. Fueled by fast urbanization, nourishment transition, and progressively inactive lifestyles, the epidemic has developed in corresponding with the overall ascent in heftiness. The dynamics of the diabetes epidemic are changing rapidly.

The Journal of Diabetes Management intends to publish peer-reviewed, original articles that address the global health concerns related to diabetes and its causes. It provides clinicians with the latest findings and opinions on the optimum therapies to check the ever expanding diabetes. It is an open access, international, online journal which aims to reach the readers and researchers globally. The journal encourages wider research perspectives including Clinical Care, Nutrition, Education to fight diabetes and aspects involving Psychosocial Research, Epidemiology, Health Services Research on Emerging Treatments and Technologies to deal with Pathophysiology, Complications, Cardiovascular and Metabolic Risk.

The benefits of Open Access journals include greater visibility, increased citation, immediate access to the full text articles, higher impact and authors could retain the copyright to their work. All open access articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license. It also allows deposit of the final published version in other significant journals without restriction on re-use. Our journal is indexed in EMBASE, CAS (Chemical Abstracts Service), EMCare, Open J Gate, Excerpta Medica, CNKI.

Also, we are now facing a global pandemic issue of COVID-19. Research studies have shown that the above 50% of the Corona patients are Diabetic. There are many researches that are done worldwide for the diabetic patients to battle COVID-19. So, the Committee members of Journal of Diabetes Management has decided to publish a special issue in our journal focusing on the topic “Advancements in Diabetes Management and Research”.
