Broadcast communications, otherwise known as telecom, is the exchange of data through electronic means over vast separations and alludes to a broad spectrum of speech, text, and video transmission. This is an descriptive concept that encompasses a vast variety of developments in the delivery of data, such as phones (wired and remote), microwave interchanges, fibre networks, satellites, radio and television broadcasting, the internet and broadcasts.
