Biomechanics Of Spine Scientific Journals

The spine is a complicated segment of the human body which is functionally remarkable. The spine makes mobility in all three dimensions, provides the muscular link between the upper and lower extremities, and also acts as a bony shield of the fragile spinal cord. The lumbar region of the spine is of specific interest to many researchers and clinicians, because low back pain is a serious medical and socio-economic issue in modern times. Biomechanics, applying mechanical principles to living things, helps to explain how all bony and soft spinal components contribute to the stability of the spinal cord individually and together, and how traumas, tumors and degenerative disorders have destabilizing effect. Spine stabilization is the fundamental prerequisite for maintaining nervous systems and avoiding the spinal components from early mechanical degradation.
