Animal Proteomics Review Journals

 Proteomics allows to study proteins that are present in a given tissue or fluid (proteom). Numerous scientific areas, including the animal and veterinary sciences, are of significant importance. Animal production and health (APH) is an important sector in the global economy , accounting for a large proportion of the budget of all member states in the European Union and on other continents. Despite this, proteomics in these disciplines has been restricted due to a variety of reasons including cost, lack of good genomic data from many species of interest and lack of knowledge by animal scientists of the potential of this technology.
