Sleep Disorders New Findings
The early years of the modern sleep-research are those followed the discovery of rapid eye movements (REMs), were devoted primarily to the investigation and definition of normal sleep. As the field expanded with each clinicians began to realize the potential value of evaluate the sleep laboratory, the clinical conditions in which sleep was disrupted or altered. The number and scope of studies relating to the clinically pertinent aspects of sleep have greatly increased in recent years. This review discusses the advances in their evaluating and treating
sleep disorders and other clinical conditions in which sleep is disturbed.
It is a matter to discuss whether the patients with primary require a graphic examination in order to exclude specific
sleep disorders such as sleep apnea
syndrome (SAS) or periodic limb movements (PLM). A prospective design, we investigated to the prevalence of the normal
sleep disorders by means of polysomnography (PSG) in a series to the patients who were previously diagnosed with the primary insomnia. This diagnosis was based on a clinical method and an ambulatory monitoring device or previous PSG.
