Power Electronics Free Online
Power Electronics is the technology concerned with efficient electrical power transfer, control and conditioning from its available input into the desired type of electrical output. The book field is concerned with processing electrical power using electronic devices, the key component of which is a switching power transducer. Power electronics is a core of power and energy control that has found an important place in modern technology. Nearly all the new electrical and electromechanical equipment has power circuits in it. The power rates experienced in this field vary from less than one watt in supplies for portable battery-operated equipment to tens, hundreds , or thousands of watts in office equipment power units, kilowatts to megawatts in variable speed motor drives, reaching megawatts in the rectifiers and inverters that connect the local transmission lines with the high power systems.
