Gynaecology is the medical practice dealing with the female reproductive system, uterus, vagina, and
ovaries of their health, Outside medicine, the term means the science of women. Its counterpart is andrology, which deals with medical issues particular to the male reproductive system. Almost all modern gynaecologists are also obstetricians. In many areas, the specialities of vagina, obstetrics overlap. A gynecologist treats the overall
