Food Security Innovations

A situation related to the food's ongoing supply is called Food Safety. Or the state of reliable access to adequate amounts of affordable, nutritious food. Food security exists, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), "If everyone has access to adequate, healthy and nutritious food at all times, physically and economically meet their food requirements and desires for a balanced and productive life". Indicators and measures of food security are derived from household income and expenditure surveys at country level in order to estimate caloric availability per capita. The availability of food relates to the provision of food through production, distribution and exchange. A variety of factors determine food production, including land ownership and use; soil management; crop selection, breeding and management; livestock breeding and management; and harvesting. Innovations are new ideas, appliances or processes. Innovations are introducing innovative approaches to address emerging needs, in articulated needs or business demands to occur. It is proficient by making more efficient products, processes, services, technologies, or new ideas readily available to markets, governments, and society. One of the most eminent challenges facing the world today is global food security. Global food security is the main policy priority at Expo Milano 2015, which the world's leaders and experts discuss by developing and discussing innovative, sustainable approaches.
