Composting Articles

Bioremediation is a technique of waste management involving the use of organisms to remove or neutralize pollutants from a contaminated location. Recently interest has increased in the use of a closely related technique, known as vermin composting (using earthworms to break down organic materials). A combined composting approach with subsequent vermicomposting brings both process advantages and minimizes the adverse environmental impact of the waste. It would be achieved by composting the required temperature to ensure satisfactory pathogen killing and the product would pass EPA pathogen reduction rules.
