Physical Chemistry Peer Review Journals

Physical chemistry, the branch of chemistry that deals with the interaction and transformation of materials. Unlike other branches, it deals with the principles of physics that underlie all chemical interactions (eg, gas laws), which seek to measure, connect, and explain quantitative aspects of reactions. Quantum mechanics has clarified much for physical chemistry by modeling the smallest particles normally handled in the field, atoms and molecules, enabling theoretical chemists to use computers and sophisticated mathematical techniques to understand the chemical behavior of matter. Chemical thermodynamics is related to the relationship between heat and other forms of chemical energy, kinetics and the rate of chemical reactions.  Physical chemistry offers many branches within the field such as Electrochemistry, photochemistry, thermo chemistry, spectroscopy, chemical kinetics. The branch of chemistry that deals with the physical structure of chemical compounds, the amount of energy they have, the way they react with other compounds and the bonds that hold their atoms together.  Peer review is designed to evaluate the validity, quality and often originality of the articles for publication.
