Occupational Health Problems

Occupational health problems are concerned with the physical and mental well being of employees. Any factor that can cause hazard to employees health and life is considered a occupational health problem. Unsafe working conditions, stress and sickness can bring injury, absence to work and illness which can result in reduced performance and productivity. It is the responsibility of the employer to care for his employees. All companies have the responsibility of health and safety towards its employees and must maintain a safe and healthy work environment. There should be a set of procedure and processes which must be displayed according to health and safety regulations. The policy of health and safety must identify and give information on the risks with action that must taken to deal with such risks.
