Since the relationship between the status of vitamin D and metabolic diseases such as obesity and type 2 diabetes (T2D) remains unclear, this review will focus on the less confusing genetic associations between vitamin D-related single nucleotide polymorphisms ( SNPs) and metabolic diseases. They included those papers which had investigated the relationship of vitamin D-related SNPs with obesity and/or T2D. Two reviewers evaluated the eligibility for inclusion criteria independently, and extracted the data. In total, the analysis included 73 articles. The Best Keynote Speaker Award will be presented to the keynote speaker who adds an extraordinary feeling to the conference through their distinguished research work, projects and strategies that will bring a new trend in the field of industrial chemistry and aqua technology.
