Mechanical Engineering Articles Open Access

Mechanical engineering is a technical discipline that combines the principles of technical physics and mathematics with material science to design, analyze, produce, and maintain mechanical systems. It is one of the oldest and widest engineering disciplines. The field of mechanical engineering requires an understanding of the main fields of mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, material science, structural analysis and electricity. In addition to these basic principles, mechanical engineers use tools such as Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and Product Lifecycle Management to design and analyze factories, factories and industrial machinery, heating and cooling systems, transportation systems, aircraft, ships, robotics, medical equipment, weapons and others. This is an engineering field that includes the design, manufacture and operation of machinery. From a technical point of view, mechanical engineering is the application of principles and techniques to solve problems from engineering to construction to production to the market at each location. Mechanical engineers analyse their work based on the principles of movement, energy and strength and ensure that designs work safely, efficiently and reliably at competitive prices.
