Materials Science

Materials science  is important to engineering activities like electronics, aerospace, telecommunications, information science, atomic power, and energy conversion. With a basic understanding of the origins of properties, materials are often selected or designed for a huge sort of applications, starting from structural steels to computer microchips. The connection of materials science  to energy usage is pervasive and sophisticated. It's fundamental to all or any other science and engineering disciplines.
