Geoscience-new-findings

Geoscience is the Earth's study-its oceans, atmosphere, rivers and lakes, ice sheets and glaciers, soil, complex surface, rocky interior and metallic core. This includes many aspects of how living things interact with the Earth including humans. Geoscience has many tools and practices of its own but is intimately linked to the biological , chemical and physical sciences. Even in our solar system they study rocks on our moon and other planets. For more than four billion years our Earth has been around so there's a lot of information to work with. Some geoscientists work in a traditional broad field of Earth science, such as geology, geophysics, geochemistry, and geoscience of the environment. Others practice geoscience in one of many specialized fields, such as volcanology (volcanoes), paleontology (fossils) or geochronology (age-dating rocks); or they work in new emerging disciplines such as medical or forensic geology. What is important to remember is that there are a lot of different types of geoscientists and different practices of geoscience. Geoscience is a science of the real world, relevant to us all, everyday. Geoscience can lead to many different specializations, and the job market that you are going to look at is rich with possibilities.
