Geoscience

 Geoscience also refers to the Earth Science which includes all the fields of the natural science such as physical and chemical constitution of the Earth and its atmosphere. Earth science is also considered as a subdivision of planetary science which incorporates the four major branches of study like the lithosphere, the hydrosphere, the atmosphere and the biosphere with each field further broken down into more specialized subfields. The scientists have been employed various tools from the fields like geology, chronology, physics, chemistry, geography, biology, and mathematics to build a quantitative understanding from the evolution of the earth environment to the development of methods and designs in order to protect the planet by studying the impact of human activity on Earth's environment.
