Electroretinography Articles

Electroretinography (ERG) is an eye test used to measure the electrical potential of the eye, the rods and cones and their connecting ganglion cells produced by light-sensitive cells to detect retina function. The electroretinograph is the device used to perform ERG, and the resulting image is called the electroretinogram. Several types of ERG tests provide specific information about the visual function of patients, such as photopic negative response and pattern ERG are useful in assessing the function of retinal ganglion cells in diseases such as glaucoma. Open access to the scientific literature means removing barriers to accessing scholarly work (including price barriers). There are two "open access" parallels: open access articles and self-archiving.
