Challenges In Nursing

A nurse have an important role in the healthcare sytem.They care for the patients fulfilling the leadership’s roles at hospitals, health system and other organizations. There are five challenges that nurses faces in their day to day activities, and there is no nurse without overcoming with these challenges they are Compensation (based on the coast of living regional differences are expected), workplace violence, the workplace violence injury rates have been increased in all health care systems. Short staffing is an issue of both personal and professional concerns for nurses today. Long working hours, in these nurses are often required to work long shifts, they are also working back to back or extended shifts. Workplace hazards, the hazards includes exposure to the injuries, hand washing related dermatitis, cold and flu germs and exposure to blood borne pathogens.
