Biometrics-Top-Open-Access-Journals

Biometrics is the science and technology of measuring and analyzing the biological data statistically. "Biometrics" means "life measurement" but usually the term is associated with the use of unique physiological characteristics to identify a person. Biometrics typically refers to technologies used in information technology to measure and analyze characteristics of human bodies, such as fingerprints, eye retinas and irises, voice patterns, facial patterns, and hand measurements, particularly for authentication.   Security is the application most people associate with the biometrics. However, the identification of biometrics eventually has a far broader relevance as the computer interface becomes more natural. Knowing the person you are talking with is an important part of human interaction and one expects future computers to have the same capabilities.
