We are pleased to declare the special issue on ‘’Recent Trends in Interventional and Clinical Radiology’’
Radiology dealing with various medical doctors that specialize in diagnosing and treating injuries and diseases using medical imaging (radiology) procedures (exams/tests) such as X-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography (PET) and ultrasound. Interventional radiology is a medical specialisation that includes performing a extend of imaging methods to get pictures of the interior of the body. The interventional radiologist carefully interprets these images to diagnose injury and disease, and to perform a range of interventional medical procedures. Clinical radiology is a specialty that uses medical imaging to diagnose and, sometimes, treat diseases seen within the body.
