Virtual Engineering Uses
Virtual Engineering (VE) is a multidisciplinary field in computer-aided engineering (CAE) technologies involving the application of various computer-based engineering devices, such as computer-aided design (CAD) in geometric modeling, finite element methods (FEM) in research, and other mechanical and process
simulation systems. Design is the cornerstone of a product's lifecycle and drives simulation-based engineering aspiration aimed at creating smooth communication among the various CAE tools. This requires a collaborative engineering work in which VE and the interface standards play a crucial role.
