Trauma Critical Care

 Critical care of the injured patients is little different from critical care. Trauma is the response to a deeply disturbing or distressing that overwhelms an individual’s ability to cause feelings of helplessness, diminishes and cope.Traruma are classified in to two types as large T traumas and small t traumas. Small t traumas are circumstances where ones bodily safety and its not life threatened. Large t traumas are amazing experiences that bring about severe distress and helplessness. The therapies for trauma include are psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic therapy. Psychotherapy helps with desensitization, cognitive behavioral therapy help to change in the thought and behavior. Hypnosis,  art therapy, acupuncture, trauma –sensitive yoga, mindfulness, craniosacral therapy, can all also help.
