Reputed Pharmacoepidemiology Journals

Pharmacoepidemiology is the branch of science that deals with the study of the use of drugs in massive numbers of people; it provides an estimate of the chance of intended effects of a drug in a very population and thereby the chance of adverse effects. It is often referred to as a bridge science spanning each clinical pharmacology and epidemiology science. It concentrates on clinical outcomes from therapeutics by using various methods of clinical epidemiology and from there understanding the determinants of effects and adverse drug effects, effects of genetic variation on drug effect, duration-response inter relationships, drug-drug interactions, and non-adherence effects. Pharmacovigilance works in pharmacoepidemiology by monitoring population for unwanted effects and other safety concerns arising in drugs during post marketing
