Psychological Disorders In Youth

 One of the most common psychological disorders among young adults is depression. According to a new record, diagnoses of major depression have risen by 33% since 2013. And adolescent mental health census show that this rate is rising even faster among millennial—up by 47%. Moreover, the rates of major depression in adolescents have increased by 65% for girls and 47% for boys. A major depressive episode is a range of at least two weeks of low mood that is present in most situations. Symptoms include loss of interest in normally enjoyable activities, low self-esteem, and problems with sleep, concentration and energy. Teens with major depression find it impossible or difficult to do normal daily activities, such as studying, working, eating and sleeping. Therefore, it remarkably affects quality of life for teens.
