Pharmacogenomics Open Access Journals

Pharmacogenomics is the study of the role of the genome (genes) in drug response. It’s the combination of pharmacology and genomics. It analyzes how the genetic makeup of an individual react when in response to drugs. Pharmacogenomics deals with the influence of inherited genetic variation or acquired genetic diseases on drug response in patients by correlating gene expression or single-nucleotide polymorphisms with the pharmacokinetics (drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination) and pharmacodynamics (effects mediated through a drug's biological targets). Pharmacogenetics focuses on single drug-gene interactions. Pharmacogenomics journals are peer review, open access journal and aims to publish the most complete and reliable source of information on the advanced and very latest research topics.
