Peyronie’s Disease Top Journals.
Peyronie’s disease is a noncancerous condition follow-on from fibrous scar tissue that advances on the penis and causes curved, painful erections. Penises vary in shape and size, and having a curved erection isn't unavoidably a cause for concern. But Peyronie's disease may causes significant bend or pain in some cases.
This can prevent you from having sex or might make it problematic to get or maintain an erection For many men, Peyronie's disease also causes
stress and anxiety. Penile shortening is additional common concern.
Peyronie's disease rarely goes absent on its own. In most men with Peyronie's disease, the complaint will remain as is or worsen. Primary treatment soon after emerging the condition may keep it from getting worse or even improve symptoms. Even if you've had the disorder for some time, treatment may help improve bothersome symptoms, such as pain, penile shortening and curvature.
