Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson's disease is a radical movement-influencing nervous system condition. Symptoms begin gradually, sometimes with only one hand starting with a barely noticeable tremor. Tremors are common but the disorder also frequently causes movement stiffness or slowing. Your face may exhibit little or no expression in the early stages of Parkinson's disease. You may not swing your arms while you're walking. Your speech can get soft or slurred. Parkinson's disease symptoms worsen as your condition progresses over time. Although Parkinson's disease cannot be cured, your symptoms may be greatly enhanced by medication. Your doctor may occasionally suggest surgery to regulate certain regions of your brain and improve the symptoms.
