(SME), an international society of about 15,000 members worldwide consisting of mining and mineral industry professionals including engineers, geologists, metallurgists, educators , students and researchers. It offers a broad-based platform for the exchange of academia, government and industry real-world and theoretical information related to mining, mineral / metallurgical processing, exploration, and other fields covered by the Society. One way the journal is unique is in being able to provide a balanced insight into these fields as well as a cross-linking avenue among the fields.    Articles written in MME have broad access to practicers and researchers at all stages."
