Marine Biology-Research-Articles

One of the most encompassing fields of oceanography is the study of marine organisms, their behaviors, and their interactions with the environment. A marine biologist is one who studies marine fish populations or manages a marine wildlife preserve and is involved in marine organism protection there. Other areas of popular interest in marine biology are environmental biology and toxicology. Both of these areas apply directly to our society and have implications. A research article reports original research results, evaluates its contribution to the body of knowledge in a given area and is published in a peer-reviewed scholarly journal. It is a primary source and it reports the methods and results of an original study performed by the authors.
