The Mammalia class includes around 5,000
species which are placed in 26 orders. Systematics does not approve the exact number or how some orders and families relate to others. The diversity of animals generally follows the settings used by Wilson and the reader. The dependence of young mammals on their mother for maintenance has allowed a period of training. Some mammals live in groups consisting of tens, hundreds, thousands or more individuals. Other mammals are generally alone except when mating or raising young. Mammals may be nocturnal, diurnal, or crepuscular. The Mammalia class includes around 5,000

milk production by a modified sweat gland called the mammary gland. Hair has several functions, including isolation, color patterns, and helps in the sense of touch. The The Mammalia class includes around 5,000
