Radiology, also called diagnostic imaging, may be a series of varied tests that take pictures or images of various parts of the body. Many of those tests are unique therein they permit doctors to ascertain inside the body. radiology test results to work out your diagnosis and therefore the course of your treatment.Radiologists are the physicians who specialize in interpreting the results of those imaging exams. Family physicians and other specialists address radiologists for consultation on the safest and best exam, and what the results mean for the patient and therefore the treatment options.In many cases, you'll not meet the radiologist who is functioning on your behalf.
