Graph Theory-open-access-journals
In mathematics, graph theory is that the study of graphs theory, which are mathematical structures wont to
model pairwise relations between objects. A graph during this context is formed from vertices (also called nodes or points) which are connected by edges (also called links or lines). A distinction is formed between undirected graphs, where edges link two vertices symmetrically, and directed graphs, where edges link two vertices asymmetrically; Graph (discrete mathematics) for more detailed definitions and for other variations within the sorts of graph that are commonly considered. Graphs are one among the prime objects of study in discrete mathematics. Graphs are often wont to
model many sorts of relations and processes in physical, biological, social and knowledge systems. Many practical problems are often represented by graphs. Emphasizing their application to real-world systems, the term network is usually defined to mean a graph during which attributes (e.g. names) are related to the vertices and edges, and therefore the subject that expresses and understands the real-world systems as a network is named network science.
