Female Athlete Triad Research Articles
The female athlete triad is a medical disorder with three elements found in physically active females. Low supply of nutrition, with or without disordered eating, menstrual disorders and Low density of bones are is the triad. An individual need not show clinical manifestations of all three components of the female athlete triad to be affected at the same time by the condition. These clinical signs may not have completely reversible consequences, so prevention, early detection, and interference are crucial. Almost all athletes, regardless of body type or sport, are at risk from the female athlete triad. All active females should be evaluated for triad components, and if one or more elements are identified, much more evaluation should be carried out.
