Evolutionary biology is a sub-discipline of the biological sciences that concerned with the origin of life, diversification and adaptation of the life forms. Evolutionary Biology is scholarly open access, peer review journals that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of evolutionary biology. The aim of the journal is to integrate perspectives across molecular and microbial evolution, genetics, ecology, behavior, paleontology, systematics and morphology. To fulfill its integrative role, the journal gives preference to papers that bring together two or more fields. The journal seeks a balance, between theory and data. It gives priority to quality research reports, theoretical or empirical, that develop our understanding of organisms and their diversity, interactions between them.
