            The International Journal of Drug Safety covers the disciplines of pharmacovigilance, pharmacoepidemiology, risk-benefit assessment, risk management and prevention of drug errors, achieves rational use of pharmacotherapy by publishing original research reviews and articles with safety guidelines through effective use of Drug Safety offering medicines and prescribe a number of additional functions to increase the visibility, readership and educational value of the contents of the magazine. Topics include: side effects of individual drugs and drug classes, management of side effects, pharmacovigilance and pharmacoepidemiology of new and existing drugs, post marketing supervision. This journal is important for all researchers and doctors involved in drug safety. Drug safety and pharmacovigilance remain dynamic clinical and scientific disciplines. Pharmacovigilance is defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as "science and activities related to the detection, assessment, understanding, and prevention of side effects or other drug-related problems". It is important to ensure that the doctor, together with the patient, has enough information to make a decision about choosing a drug for treatment.
