Decolorization Experiments

Different techniques are described for decolourization including nearly all the known physical, chemical , and biological techniques. It is likely that each method alone can not fulfill the requirements. For example, a combination of those processes is often used, chemical-biological, biological-chemical, chemical-physical, chemical-chemical, etc. Decolorisation improves with aeration despite the reduction in total organic carbon (TOC) removal, indicating that the decoloration process was independent of methanogenic activity as long as the redox potential remains low. To optimize process parameters for decoloration of dye from textile wastewater with HRP, the influence of enzyme concentration, dye concentration, hydrogen peroxide concentration, pH and temperature of both colors must be examined. Experiments were made in triplicate, and standard deviations were calculated. Decolorization is conducted in columns in various serial or parallel conformations.
