"Coastal erosion is a problem all over the world, and its proactive management by rational mitigation steps is a problem for many places on the sea, which have been intensified by human activities. China has a coastline of 32,000 km, of which a third is covered by sandy shores. Coastal erosion leads to significant loss of land and aggravates the unfair financial burden. Coastal erosion management of China is a systematic process for using science technology, administrative and economic policy in order to facilitate a sustainable connection between social economic development and coastal
environmental conservation in order to minimize the adverse repercussions of
coastal erosion by using a socialized, scientific and informative system of
coastal erosion management.
