Carbohydrate Metabolism Disorder Online Journals
Carbohydrate metabolism disorders happen in many forms. Are acquired the most common disorders. Acquired or secondary carbohydrate metabolism derangements, such as diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperosmolar coma, and hypoglycemia, both focus on the central nervous system.
Diabetes also shows many forms and variants of peripheral nervous disease. The remaining carbohydrate metabolism disorders are the rare inborn metabolism errors (e.g., genetic defects). The hereditary defects that have been discovered to date affecting carbohydrate metabolism are inherited as autosomal recessive traits. Although multiple affected siblings may be identified in a family, the majority of those affected are the first to be identified in a family.
