Manufacturing engineers are liable for ensuring proper production of the automotive components or complete vehicles. While the event engineers are liable for the function of the vehicle, manufacturing engineers are liable for the safe and effective production of the vehicle. This group of engineers consist of process engineers, logistic coordinators, tooling engineers, robotics engineers, and assembly planners.Manufacturing domain deals with the creation and assembling the whole parts of automobiles is also included in it. The automotive technology field is research -intensive and involves direct application of mathematical models and formulas. Production, development, and manufacturing are the three major functions during this field. Automobile Engineering may be a branch of engineering which deals with designing, manufacturing and operating automobiles. It is a segment of auto engineering which deals with motorcycles, buses, trucks, etc. It also includes mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety elements. There are many employment opportunities for the qualified people and that they can select a career in industry , which results in bright future. Now, with numerous foreign automobile companies like Volkswagen, Audi, Renault etc targeting India as a base for manufacturing cars, the scope for a career in industry is rising rapidly. Automobile engineering is a huge industry.
