Astrobiology-innovations

Astrobiology is the branch of biology deals with the study of life on earth and in space. Astrobiology uses molecular biology, biophysics, biochemistry, chemistry, astronomy, physical cosmology, exoplanetology and geology to explore the existence of life on other planets and help understand biospheres that may differ from those on Earth. The origin and early evolution of life is an inseparable part of astrobiology. Astrobiology is concerned with interpreting existing scientific evidence, and while speculation is encouraged to provide meaning, astrobiology primarily concerns hypotheses that fit squarely into existing scientific theories. Another active area of astrobiology research is the formation of planetary systems. It has been proposed that the peculiarities of the Solar System for example, Jupiter's existence as a defensive shield may have significantly increased the possibility of intelligent life on our planet appearing.
