Alopecia areata is an hair loss condition in which the hair is lost in some regions or all areas of the body. It is also referred to as spot baldness and also considered as an autoimmune disease which breaches the hair immune regions. In some cases, they can also be generic and may affect some personnel within the family. In this case, the human immune system considers hair follicles as antigen and thereby producing necessary antibody to reduce the effect of follicle thereby halting the growth of hair. Chemical means are the primary step to reduce such condition. Ruxolitinib is considered as a primary drug and can be used for this treatment.
