immune system in order to develop defense mechanism to fight against a disease. Vaccines comprises of the weakened, live or killed state microorganisms or viruses. They help in preventing the sickness from an
infectious disease by stimulating the body's adaptive immunity. The efficiency and efficacy of the vaccines is widely studied and verified.
Vaccination is the most active method of averting infectious diseases which is widespread and mainly accountable for the global abolition of various diseases like smallpox, polio and tetanus. In some cases, immunization is also known as vaccination.
