Tercontinental Faulting

Analysis of the geological positions of the largest oil and gas-bearing basins, performed on the basis of research data described in Russia's Geological Atlas and other publications, allowed the labeling of the Ural-African oil and gas belt bearing petroleum. This largest hydrocarbon accumulation on the Earth belt is linked to the near-meridional band of a giant long-existing intercontinental fault (drifting) zone pre-existing since Riphean in the central part of Eurasia and elongated with smooth rejuvenation through Paleozoic and Mesozoic to the South Caspian region, Persian gulf and African platform (African rift system) The members of the editorial board as editorial team aimed at disseminating academic information to the scientific community.
