Sickle Cell Disease

 A group of disorders is called as  Sickle cell disease which only affects  the hemoglobin,  and the molecule which are present  in red blood cells that delivers oxygen to cells throughout the body. Basically people with this disorder can have a typical type of  hemoglobin molecules which is called  as hemoglobin S, and that can distort red blood cells into a sickle, or crescent, shape.   Mainly the signs and symptoms of sickle cell disease usually begin in early childhood. Although the signs as well as the  symptoms of sickle cell disease are mainly caused by the red blood cells sickling The characteristic features of this provided disorder include a low number of red blood cells which are having repeated infections, and a huge periodic episodes of pain. In this disorder symptoms basically varies from person to person. ·         Some people can have mild symptoms, while on the other hand others can have frequently hospitalized for more serious complications. The moment red blood cells sickle, creation of breaking down prematurely happens , which can lead to anemia. Cause of Anemia ·         Shortness of breath, ·         Fatigue ·         Delayed growth and development in children. Causing of  yellowing of the eyes and skin are the signs of jaundice and rapid breakdown of red blood cells may also occur.
